Manali is a resort town nestled in the mountains of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of the Kullu Valley in the Beas River Valley. It is located in the Kullu district, about 270 km (168 mi) north of the state capital, Shimla, 309 km (192 miles) northeast of Chandigarh and 544 km (338 miles) northeast of Delhi, the federal capital. The small town, with a population of 8,096, is the beginning of an ancient trade route to Ladakh and from there over the Karakoram Pass on to Yarkand and Khotan in the Tarim Basin. It is a popular tourist destination and serves as the gateway to Lahaul and Spiti district as well as Leh.
Day-01 : Arrive Kullu to Transfer Manali
Arrive Kullu Airport.On arrival, transfer to Manali. Check in at hotel. Today proceed for local sightseeing in Manali visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Monastry and Mall Road. Overnight Manali.
Day 02 : Manali to Excursion to Rohtang Pass (Snow Point)
Today enjoy excursion to Rohtang Pass also called Snow point- enjoy the beauty of year round snow caped mountails. Overnight Manali. Note: Rohtang Pass will be closed on Tuesday. ( Rohtang Pass Sightseeing is not included from 15th May 2015 onwards. It will be chargeable extra payable directly by the guest)
Day 03 : Manali - Local & Kullu sightseeing
Morning half day city tour visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Village and Tibetan Monastery. In the afternoon transfer to Kullu enroute visiting Vaishno Devi Temple. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening free to visit Kullu town and shop for the famous Kullu Shawls. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Manali to Kullu Drop
Day at leisure on your own to enjoy natural beauty of Manali. In time transfer to Kullu airport and drop.
