The legendary King, Bhagiratha, the great-grandson of the Suryavanshi King Sagar (an ancestor of Rama), is said to have brought the river Ganges down from heaven, through years of penance in Satya Yuga, for the salvation of 60,000 of his ancestors from the curse of the saint Kapila, a tradition continued by thousands of devout Hindus, who brings the ashes of their departed family members, in hope of their salvation.
Day-01 : Delhi to Haridwar ( 230 Kms - 7 Hours)
Pickup from railway station, check in to your hotel. Evening you will visit ashrams and temples- mansa devi and chamunda devi etc & witness aarti of the holy river ganges. Night stay in haridwar.
Day 02 : Haridwar - Local Sightseeing
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh. Proceed for sightseeing lakshman jhula, ram jhula, gita bhavan, parmanikatan etc. In evening arrive Haridwar and transfer. To hotel. Night stay in Haridwar.
Day 03 : Haridwar to Delhi ( 230 Kms - 7 Hours)
After Breakfast check out from hotel. Drive to Delhi. Upon arrival drop at Rly. Stn ./ Airport for onward journey.
